Meet the Team
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Heidi Godomsky
Heidi Godomsky joined The River Fund Maine as the Executive Director in November of 2023.
Originally from Massachusetts, Heidi moved to Maine after earning a Master of Arts in History from Trinity College and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The College of William and Mary.
She served as the head coach of the nationally ranked women’s lacrosse team at Colby College for 14 years until she and her family moved to Bethel, where they resided from 2007-2016. Her three sons attended Crescent Park School and Telstar Middle School, and Heidi was immersed in the community coaching youth sports, volunteering at schools, and directing the Sunday River Ski and Snowboard Club.
In 2016, Heidi and her family moved to Aspen where she used her expertise in organization and communication to spearhead the management of a $114 million bond project at the Aspen School District for almost two years.
In September of 2023, Heidi and her husband were thrilled to return to Maine and reintegrate into the Bethel community. Heidi’s eagerness to continue to positively impact youth in the community led her to join The River Fund Maine, where she hopes to expand the reach of the fund and work towards goals regarding recreation and education that align with her own values.
