Celebrate the start of winter and the holiday season in unforgettable style at Santa Sunday, a beloved annual tradition at Sunday River Resort. Watch as more than 250 Santas take over the slopes, spreading holiday cheer while supporting a great cause.

 

All proceeds from the event benefit the River Fund Maine and the Boyne Forever Foundation.

Event Overview

Santa Sunday brings together hundreds of skiers and riders dressed head-to-toe in full Santa attire for a one-of-a-kind on-snow celebration. This festive spectacle has been featured on national platforms like the Travel Channel and continues to grow each year.

Last year alone, participating Santas helped raise $5,000 for the River Fund—making this event as meaningful as it is memorable.

 

For Spectators

Not skiing? No problem! Spectators are encouraged to arrive at South Ridge by 11:00 AM to catch the best view of this festive parade of Santas.
