Caring about our community should not be dull! Participate in one of our fun fund-raising events like the Mahoosuc Ridge to The River Challenge, Par 3 Party, or our Santa ski event with Sunday River Ski Resort.
Par 3 Party
For all you Par-3 Party enthusiast, it’s looking like August 15 might be too soon for us to get together for this year’s event. Our goal remains to bring you a great party that includes food, music, raffles, and a Par 3, Best Ball tournament designed so everyone has a great evening on the course. New this year, an award for the best decorated golf cart. Golf skills are optional, but fun is guaranteed. We are currently working with the Bethel Inn for an alternative after September 1.
Keep your party skills sharp and stay tuned.
More details coming soon.
Mahoosuc Ridge to the River 2020
Our 2019 inaugural race was a huge success, so we’re amping it up for 2020: get ready for the addition of a FULL MARATHON category! We’ll still have the 10k and half marathon should you choose. All info will be available and updated regularly on the event website and registration site.
.5K Dry Land Training
Designed for the ski bum in all of us, we’ve created the ultimate Dry Land Training course to ready you for the 20/21 season. Your training, like all good ski days will begin with a Bloody Mary shooter. For today only, we’ll turn a blind eye as you duck a rope then refuel on your favorite Sunday River Brew Pub donuts. Now you’re ready to careen down our slalom course and conclude with an après Shipyard beer. All finishers will receive a commemorative 0.5K “race” sticker, perfect for your mug, Thule or helmet. True pros will do it in their ski boots.
Master of the Mountain
A little later than expected but we are planning to hold our inaugural Master of the Mountain event in the spring of 2021. With multiple classes there is a chance for everyone to show off your talents during this event that combines the excitement of downhill skiing with the precision of a timed road rally and enduro challenge—all while raising money to support the youth in the Sunday River region. Participants will ski or ride a series Sunday River’s epic trails trying to match the predetermined target time for each run. Only one person will be crowned Master of the Mountain and earn the bragging rights that come with the title. Do you have what it takes?
